About
I'm an artist and public-speaking coach based in Amman. I co-founded BulbulHub Academy of Public Speaking, where I teach English and public speaking to children, and Cacawiia, a homemade peanut butter I make myself.
Film is my great love. In July 2022 my wife challenged me to introduce 101 great films, one at a time. By November I had written 102 essays, spanning both centuries of cinema and reaching from Hollywood to Iran, Japan, India and Wadi Rum. Stanley Kubrick and Federico Fellini are my favourite directors; Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone are my favourite composers. I believe life is too short for a bad movie, and that the best film is yet to be made.
Here I rank what I love: films and music.
