Fantastic Mr. Fox is a stop-motion animated adventure comedy following the wild, rebellious and fantastic Mr. Fox who should be a responsible husband and father, Mr. Fox decides to return to his older animalistic ways for one last time.
This is a cinematic adventure with style, a tale of family and friendship, community and responsibility, underground tunnels and burning things.
Wes Anderson drifts a notch out of his way to make one of a kind motion picture yet so playful and Wes Andersoni. Crafting every scene and every shot with a masterful worldbuilding and awesome music, and telling a resonant, amusing, unconventional story.
Based on the 1970 children's novel of the same name by Roald Dahl, adaptations couldn't look and feel so atmospheric and authentic.
To make Fantastic Mr. Fox sound more spontaneous voice work was recorded on location rather than in a studio, in places such as forests, attics, stables and underground locations.
The vibrant performance by George Clooney as Mr. Fox give our lead protagonist an extra layer of charisma and rhythm from the inside out.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is delightful, charming, and one of the best animated films in an era defined by the magical art form.
