An intimate portrait and an epic story of the courage we discover, the innocence we surrender, and the memories we cherish.....forever.

Malèna is a romantic drama set in a small Sicilian town during WWII and follows an adolescent boy, Renato, as he's love-stricken by Malèna, the most desired, envied, and beautiful woman in town.

Fine cinema isn't always about epic stories that impact millions of lives or biographies about people who changed the world and left defining marks in history, sometimes it's about a young boy's erotic fantasy into manhood.

The 'Cinema Paradiso' writer and director, Giuseppe Tornatore tells a tale simpler in story but emotionally as paradisiac. A tale about beauty, sexual obsession, solitary, and the narrow-mindedness of 20th century society.

Monica Bellucci captures the screen in her sensational performance with minimal verbal and maximum body and facial expressions. This is acting at its most prestigious.

The semi coming-of-age narrative brings out the innocent child inside of all of us and throws them back again at the breakthrough moments that have shaped us into the little less innocent adults.

Ennio Morricone once again takes over control of all of your senses in his melancholic, tranquil original score.

Beautiful and serene sceneries and cinematography by, the Hungarian master, Lajos Koltai, compelling performances, and resonant story about the price we pay for beauty and for love.

Malèna is a visual meditation on the human condition and nostalgia, a symphonic melodrama of world cinema.
